Did a printer update directly from printer touch screen in June.  Since then, printer turns on by itself; when in sleep mode, turns touch screen on then freezes to a blank white screen; will not turn off as before--requires multiple turn off attempts to actually turn off.

Is there a way to remove latest update done in June?  Printer was just fine before update.

Not a tech person so please explain like you're speaking to a 7-yr old!  Although a 7 yo could prolly fix this--too bad I don't know one!!

Thanks in advance!

S.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that your printer display is frozen, you might have to perform a reset on the printer to fix the issue.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
