HP DeskJet 2700 All In One Printer

I bought this printer from my friend. He has unlinked his account from this printer and I am trying to setup this printer on my account. But I get an error while connecting to Wifi. I am not able to figure out a solution for the same. Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Attaching screenshot of the error. I tried connecting to both 5g and 2.4g WiFi connection but it didn't help.

Hi @Vik86,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing a connectivity issue with your HP DeskJet 2700 All In One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To assist better:

  • I would like to know what device are you trying to connect to?
  • What OS is running on your device?
  • Is the blue light blinking on the Wi-Fi icon?
  • How far is the printer from the router? (Distance in Feet)

While you respond to that, please try to Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on the printer and try to connect it back to your network.

  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons until the Power button flashes, and then wait for the Wireless light to flash.
  • Once you restore the network to defaults, then please follow the instructions on this link to connect the printer back to your PC.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
