HP OfficeJet Pro 8024 All-in-One Printer

No help was forthcoming from the Case I raised.

My solution was to go to https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/closure/hp-officejet-pro-8020-all-in-one-printer-se... and download the driver.  In order for it to execute correctly, I had to disable my Windows Defender firewall, until the printer was detected and I was able to select it.  Only when the printer was in a ready state (after I had power cycled it) was this possible.  Once it was ready, I selected it, and an update button appeared.  This applied the update to the firmware.  Having finished the update, I reset my firewall back on.

I am hoping this has fixed it.
