Printer was working Fine from Initial Installation up until Friday 1/24/25 when the printer Automatically updated to the newest firmware, this version "6.17.5.34-202412122146" has now Caused the printer to Generate a number of "Printer error occurred" codes and will not work unless we power cycle the device.

Error Codes we received:

C8.CB.DD.0B (Stating "Process Name: *Blank* & FW Version 6.17.5.34-202412122146")

My Best Guess here is a Firmware Build got auto deployed without a proper Testing Phase? as Printer was 100% fine before this and now nothing but problems following the update.

Hi @whitneyhjfp, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HP printer after the firmware update. It sounds frustrating, especially since it was working fine before. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
Manual Firmware Update: You can try manually updating the firmware to ensure it was installed correctly.

You might want to adjust your printer's firmware update settings to manual, allowing you to review updates before installation. This can be done through the printer's EWS or control panel.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
