Good Day everyone. I have a HP ENVY Photo 7855 Printer. Printer starts to turn on but won’t fully load pass loading screen. Any suggestions or ideas on how to solve this issue.

Hi @SonofGod1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Envy Photo 7855 won’t boot past the loading screen. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Power reset the printer

With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back.

Wait 60 seconds, plug it back in directly to a wall outlet (no surge protector).

Remove any memory card or USB device

Take out any SD card or USB drive connected to the printer.

These can sometimes freeze the boot process.

Check for stuck buttons

Lightly press around the touchscreen edges and physical buttons.

A stuck button can stop the printer from finishing startup.

Start the printer without cartridges

Remove all ink cartridges, then turn the printer on.

If it boots normally, one of the cartridges may be causing a hardware lock.

Clean the cartridge contacts

Wipe the copper contacts on each cartridge with a dry lint-free cloth.

Reinsert them after the printer fully starts.

Try entering the Support Menu

Turn off the printer → press and hold the bottom-left corner of the screen → power it on.

If the menu appears, you can run internal resets.

I hope this helps.
