Microsoft Windows 11

I have a Deskjet 2710e and have had nothing but problems.

Most recently I changed my broadband provider, but since then I have been unable to get my printer to connect to the new wireless network.

I had been getting around this by using the Wifi Direct option to print (although that was an absolute pain) but even that's stopped working now.

My HP Smart desktop app on Windows 11 currently shows two printers as being in existence (probably from previous attempts to get this to work), but both show as offline. If I try and add a new printer it gets stuck at the part where it connects to wireless.

No printers come up under owned printers on my HP account anymore.

Really I could do with just going back to factory settings and starting again but it won't let me into the printer advanced settings. Can anyone please advise? I've tried everything!

Connect the printer to the Wi-Fi network (printers with touch screens) Use the wireless setup wizard on the printer control panel to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network. VIDEO Reconnecting a Touchscreen Printer to a Wireless Network This video shows you how to reconnect your touchscreen printer to a wireless network. We will first restore the network settings to the printer and then use the Wireless Setup Assistant to reconnect your HP printer to the wireless network of your choice. Place the printer near the router. Make sure paper is loaded in the input tray and turn on the printer. In the Wireless menu or Configuration , select Network Configuration or Settings, then Restore Network Settings. Retrieve the network name and password. To learn more, see Find a wireless network password or PIN to connect an HP printer. From the Setup, Network, or Wireless Settings menu, select Wireless Setup Wizard. Select your network, then enter the password. Noticed : If the Wireless Setup Wizard is not listed, select Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) or WPS, then select Push Button and follow the steps to connect to the network. Print a Wireless Network Test Report Print a Wireless report to view information about your printer's connection to the network or to identify any connection problems. On the printer, go to the Wireless menu, Network Settings or Configuration to locate and print a wireless network test report. Review the report information or follow any instructions provided to troubleshoot possible Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
