Hi @Asia30,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Ensure Compatibility
- Verify that your printer drivers are compatible with Windows 11. Visit the HP Support Drivers page to ensure you have the latest drivers for your printer.
Restart Devices
- Restart both your printer and your laptop. Sometimes connectivity issues can be resolved with a simple restart.
Check Network Connection
- Ensure your printer and laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Check the printer’s display to verify its network connection status.
Remove and Reinstall Printer
Remove the Printer:
- On your Windows 11 PC, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP DeskJet 4258e printer and click Remove.
Reinstall the Printer:
- Click Add device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer back.
Use HP Smart App
- Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.
- Follow the app's instructions to set up and connect your printer.
Use the HP Support Diagnostic Tool
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP Support. This tool can automatically resolve many printing issues.
Perform a Hard Reset on the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds and then plug it back in and turn it on.
Connect Using WPS
- If your router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), try connecting your printer using this method:
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- Within two minutes, press the Wi-Fi button on your printer.
Let me know how it goes.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
