HP DeskJet 2855e All-in-One Printer

I have a new laptop.  I am wanting to connect this printer.  I have installed the hp app on the new laptop but I cannot get this printer to connect to wifi.  I have tried everything:  restarting the router,  restarting the printer, holding down the wifi and x buttons, restoring to factory settings holding down the power and wifi buttons -- nothing.  I am now in hour three of this.  How the heck am I suppose to even determine what the issue is?  Does the printer need my wifi password? My wifi clearly works as my laptop is connected to it right now.  I'm ready to punt this thing into the trash.

Hi @Helena79

Please follow steps from the next video to setup printer:

  • Note:
    • Please check that you are connecting the printer to a 2.4G network,
    • because that is the only compatible network speed to make printer work.
