Hi @33Sydney,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When an HP printer indicates a warranty issue that prevents it from printing, it's often related to the ink or toner cartridges. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:
Check Cartridge Compatibility: Ensure that the cartridges installed are compatible with your printer model. Sometimes, printers will not function if non-genuine or incompatible cartridges are used.
Cartridge Warranty: Printer cartridges themselves often have a warranty separate from the printer. If using genuine HP cartridges, check if they are expired. HP ink cartridges have a warranty ends date printed on them, and using cartridges past this date might cause the printer to display a warranty issue.
Update Firmware: Sometimes, updating the printer’s firmware can resolve issues related to cartridge recognition and functionality. Check the HP support site for firmware updates for your specific printer model. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16
Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear error messages.
let's try a network reset:
1. Disconnect the power cord from the router.
2. Turn off the printer.
3. Turn off the mobile device/PC.
Press and hold the wireless ((i)) and cancel button ❌at the same time for 5 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
5. Turn on the printer.
6. Turn on the mobile device/PC.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
