Hi @bigdaddylm1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2734e All-in-One Printer won’t print and won’t show ink levels on Windows 11, here’s how to fix it.

Step-by-Step Fix for Printing and Ink Level Issues

1. Use HP Smart App’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

HP recommends using the built-in Diagnose & Fix tool in the HP Smart app:

2. Check Ink Cartridge Installation

  • Open the cartridge access door
  • Remove and reinsert both cartridges (black and tri-color)
  • Make sure they click firmly into place
  • Clean the copper contacts gently with a lint-free cloth if needed

HP Instant Ink cartridges must be genuine and correctly installed to show ink levels.

3. Update Printer Firmware

4. Check for Print Queue or Spooler Errors

  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers
  • Right-click your printer → See what’s printing
  • Cancel any stuck jobs
  • Restart the Print Spooler service:
    • Press Windows + R, type services.msc
    • Find Print Spooler, right-click → Restart

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
