When I wnt to print one page in Tray 1, the printer will use tray 2 if I don't change it in the setup before I print. I thought that when paper is inserted in tray 1 that it has priority.

That will depend on how you have the tray configured. Do you have a specific paper size and type set? I don't have access to one of these so I cannot see exactly what configuration options are available for this model.

I have the paper size and type set as the manual says but it won't print on tray 1 when I insert a page in it.
