Hi

I recently cancelled HP instand ink, and now my printer really won't work. The web sevices button is flashing amber, and the instant ink icon is flashing as well. Now the advice is to press the information button twice and it will sort it, but it has not worked at all. I've also tried printing from my phone, and again, that doesn't work, so it is definitely the printer that is refusing to work. 

Please, any suggestions?

If you have canceled Instant Ink and your end of billing cycle has occured, you can no longer use HP Instant Ink Cartridges.  You must go out and buy standard HP cartridges locally and replace them all in the printer. 

 

Then you are to return HP cartridges back to them.  All in the email you received like this... except the date is different.

 

Your request to cancel your HP Instant Ink service has been received. We are sorry to see you go.

Below are details regarding your cancellation:

1Your service will end on March 28, 2018. This is when your current billing cycle ends. Until then, your service will continue.

2Important Reminder: Please understand the HP Instant Ink cartridges you received after enrolling will not work after March 28, 2018, whether you are already using them in your printer or not.Feel free to use these cartridges until then. After March 28, 2018, you will want to replace them with standard HP cartridges to continue printing. Any printing you do with HP Instant Ink cartridges through the last day of your billing cycle will be billed according to your plan, as outlined in the Terms of Service.

3. Please return your HP Instant Ink cartridges. At the end of your billing cycle, return all HP Instant Ink cartridges in the postage-paid recycling envelope that came with your cartridges. You can order additional postage–paid recycling envelopes for free by signing in here, and expanding the 'Support' section once signed in.
4. You're always welcome back. We appreciate your business. To reinstate your service at any time, visit hpinstantink.com or call HP Customer Support at 1-855-785-2777.

Please note, if you have free or promo months remaining on your account, you will not be billed your final monthly charge (excluding any additional pages printed). You will lose any promotional months upon cancellation.
