Hi @Baltofan,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet Plus 4140. It is showing as ready to print but isn’t actually printing from your phone, try these steps:

Restart Devices: Turn off your printer, phone, and WiFi router. Wait a few seconds, then turn them back on. This often resolves connectivity issues.

Clear Print Queue: Open the print queue on your phone (this may be in the print notifications or app settings) and clear any stuck or pending jobs.

Update or Reinstall HP Smart App: Sometimes an app update or reinstall helps. Delete and reinstall the HP Smart app from your phone’s app store, as this refreshes the connection settings.

Re-add the Printer:

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Remove the printer from your list of devices, then add it back by following the on-screen instructions.

Check WiFi Connection: Ensure your phone and printer are on the same WiFi network. If you have multiple networks, connect both to the same one.

Try Another Document or File Format: Sometimes, specific files can have compatibility issues. Try printing a different document (like a basic PDF) to see if it prints correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
