@Lljl2025-_, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reset your HP wireless printer password, the steps can vary slightly depending on the model, but here are the most common methods:
Option 1: Restore Network Settings to Default
This resets the wireless settings including the password:
- Turn on the printer.
- Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- The printer will restart, and the wireless light will start blinking, indicating it's ready for setup again.
Option 2: Use the HP Smart App
If your printer is connected to the HP Smart app:
- Open the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.
- Tap your printer, then go to Advanced Settings.
- Navigate to Settings > Security > Password Settings.
- Enter the PIN (usually found on a sticker on the printer).
- Set a new password or leave it blank to remove it.
Option 3: Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS)
If your printer is still connected to the network:
- Find your printer’s IP address (usually from the control panel).
- Enter the IP in a browser to open the Embedded Web Server.
- Go to Network > Wireless Settings > Security.
- Change the password and save.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
