I can't print double sided, any suggestions would be welcome.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-envy-photo-6200-all-in-one-printer-ser...


Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

 

The driver has a "Print on both sides" or two-sided (Duplex)  option, select that to print double sided.

Thank you for your reply. I downloaded the driver however I m still unable to print double sided, this despite the printer itself saying this is an available facility.

Hi,

 

Was the driver installed successfully?  

 

Once installed, open up any Word or PDF document, there should be an option for Duplex print.

 

Example (Envy Photo  7855)

Duplex print Envy photo 7855.jpg

I have the 6220 not the 6800 series, this dialog does not appear and I have now investigated everything I can find, I dont think this is going to work.

The Envy Photo 7855 was used as an example of what the printer would show had it been properly installed.

 

If the software is not installed, please do so:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-envy-photo-6200-all-in-one-printer-ser...

 

Upon successfully installation, under the Printer Properties, the 2-sided printing option would be there (it's the same software for the 6220 as it is for the 7800 series).
