Welcome to the HP Community --

The printer is certainly capable of printing envelopes.

How you go about "Printing stuff on envelopes" depends on the size and type of envelope, the type of information, and the tools you have available.

The easier option is to print envelopes using Windows >> Word > Mailings > Envelopes

That does mean you must have access to Word or a very-much-like Word program on your device.

Your Word-like document editor (software) must also be able to use your printer.

Windows does this by supporting a full driver printer software that, in turn, supports printing Word documents.

I am not familiar with Android though I should think there is some type of document editor available.

Another way to print envelopes involves you having created a document in the shape and size of your envelope using whatever Word-ish (office document) software you have available.  Creating an envelope using this method generally includes being able to insert pictures / images along with the text for the sender's and recipient's (destination) address.

Once created with all the text and / or pictures you want on the envelope, Export the document and save the document in PDF format.

The printer supports a variety of paper sizes and types.

Envelopes -- those that are supported by the printer -- are generally printed as Paper Type "Plain Paper".

For example, the printer supports printing a plain white #10 envelope (no foil or other linings).

PDF Document

The margins can be a bit tricky -- although the printer supports small margins, PDF documents tend to have larger margins by the time the content is put to paper.  For example, the Sender's address (upper left corner) might be lower and farther in from the edge.

HP Smart -- now the HP App on Android devices -- can print PDF files.

Before you print your envelope, alert the printer to the Paper Size / Paper Type.

Load the Envelopes using the instructions in the user guide:

Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

Reminder

The default PIN might be located on the back or inside the printer (ink access area).
