I have a pdf file which is a drawing. The drawing was set up as an A0 size drawing and would normally be printed full size on a large format printer. My printer (HP Envy 5010) prints A4 and if I print the full drawing, it is illegible because the no. I want to zoom in on sections of the drawing and print them. However my printed doesn't seem to allow me to do this. It defaults to the top left of the drawing ever time. So my question is, is it possible for me to print sections of the drawing in this way or even 'print screen' with my printer?

Welcome to the HP User Community.
Use Adobe Reader DC to print the file in Poster format > select a single section of the whole.
For example
Open PDF / CAD file in Adobe Reader DC > Click Print icon
Open Properties > Select Paper Size / other options
Save changes > Close Properties menu
Page Sizing & Handling = Poster
Tile Scale = 100% (or other)
Select an Overlap (used later to tape sections)
Pages to Print > Open More Options
In Preview window
Select / Click the section of the whole to be printed
Pages to Print > More Options
Select Current View
When ready, Click to Print
Sample - PDF Document - CAD - Poster - Print One Section
