I recently bought a new printer, HP Office Jet Pro 8030e series and found out the only way to print a PDF file was to save it first but when you go to print it, there's no option to pick what pages you want to print if there's multiple pages and you don't need them all.
Under Page Range, there's only 3 options, Print all pages, Print current page, or Print pages in range. None of those options work when I want to print let's say pages 1-4.
Am I missing something?

Welcome to the HP support communtiy.
I understand that you are not getting complete printing options, I am glad to assist you.
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.
Download and install printer using HP Smart app

Thanks for trying to help me but that didn't change a thing. By the way, I had originally set up the printer using HP Smart. I also set it up on my husband's computer and he too only has the same 3 options I have for what pages you can print when printing a PDF file.

This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
