When trying to print a #10 envelope the printer assumes the paper is standard letter size and prints the addresses (From & To) against the left margin even though a #10 envelope was specified in the setup menu and inserted into the center of the paper tray.

You need to ensure that the paper type set on the printer itself is set for #10 envelope. The settings in the driver do not affect the physical printer, they only tell the printer where it should select paper from.

As far as I could tell the paper type on the printer was set to #10 envelope. When I originally did this, I had the printer connected with a USB cable. I don't know why this would make a difference but when I re-setup and connected using WiFi I was able to print a #10 envelope successfully. I originally had it connected using USB because when using WiFi the printer goes to sleep if not accessed for a period of time and it has to be "awakened" by touching the one of the push buttons which is annoying if you are not in the same room.

Likely connecting via Wifi resulted in a new driver instance being installed or possibly a completely different driver. Note that usually there are 2 settings, paper size and paper type. Size must be set to #10 and paper type needs to be set to envelop. I have not personally used the never stop printers before so I cannot speak directly to this product. I do know that often a Microsoft driver gets installed instead of an HP driver and they do not always offer the same print experience.

Thanks for your help. Right now I have it set up both with USB and with WiFi and it prints envelopes either way--go figure! I'll not touch it anymore and keep my fingers crossed.
