Printing envelopes

When I print envelopes from Word on my Officejet Pro 8600, I have been able to succeed only if I remove the paper and insert envelopes into the top tray.  Isn't there a way to keep envelopes in one tray or the other all the time, and print from that tray only when I need an evelope? I am using Windows 11 but had the same issue for prior versions of Windows.

The User Guide explains how to configure the Tray Settings and Tray Lock, Starting on Page 31

If you have the full feature driver installed, it might be possible to create a Custom Shortcut that includes the settings you want for a particular job configuration.  True - not every setting is configurable in a Custom Shortcut.

Possibly relevant -- Whether the "Advanced" section is available depends available options for the printer model.

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management > Open Section Advanced

Reminder:  The example includes the setup for Tray 2 as the "custom" paper tray -- this tray designation is true for the printer in the example but might not be true for your printer.
