Since I have updated to Catalina I get an error message when trying to print borderless. Printing borderless was possible with macOS 10.14.
Are there any solutions for that problem?

@wahnsinn, Welcome to HP Support Community!
To assist you better, I'd like to know the following-
Which application are you trying to print from?
Have you installed the latest drivers for HP?
Meanwhile, Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. For more information, go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.
Check the driver settings before you give the print command from your computer. Refer to the document HP Printers - Print Settings Guide (Mac) for help.
Keep me posted.

Thanks for replying!
Check if there are any updates available for our Mac Computer and the PDF application.
Else can you try to go to Print > "Advanced" > select "Print as Image" and try printing.
(make sure the print settings are borderless etc)
The image is for Windows but believe that Mac should be similar.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

The PDF apps are up to date

I do not have these options on macOS. I have first to convert the PDF to an image, but that is no acceptable workflow. And trying to print an image als borderless produces the same error
I am sure there is a problem of the printer driver with the security settings in Catalina. The driver needs an update

Ensure that the Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the link below to update the Mac software:
Remove and add the printer
Click the Apple menu, and then select System Preferences.
Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.
Click the name of your printer, click the Minus sign, and then delete the printer.
Click the Plus sign, and then click Add Printer or Scanner.
Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select AirPrint
Click Add to add the printer to the list.
Try to print.
Keep me posted for further assistance.
