How do you print a PDF with multiple page sizes on the HP 774o all-in-one wide format printer?

I am not sure I understand what you are asking.

If each of the pages are a different actual page size,

IF this printer supports the option,

The setup is easy:

Reinstall / Update your PDF Reader (Adobe Reader DC / Foxit Reader)

  • HINT: Watch out for and UNCHECK unwanted extra software

Example

Open the document in Adobe Reader DC

Click the print icon

In Section Page Size & Handling, second sub-section:

Select (CHECK box) Choose paper source by PDF page size

"Paper source by size" is one of those "specialty" options - most printers won't do this.

The option is included in the PDF reader software for the high-end printers that can auto-select paper based on size.

Certainly worth a try.

I would guess that the Source (in Properties) should be set to Automatic.

                                                              ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If you are asking how to print multiple sheets on a page,

Open the document in Adobe Reader

Click the print icon

In Section Page Size & Handling

Select "Multiple" and enter the information

Example

Print_PDF_2sheets-per-page_1Print_PDF_2sheets-per-page_1

I have a PDF with 8.5 x 11 and 11x17 page sizes (only).  I have set Tray 1 to 8.5x11 and Tray 2 to 11x17.  I then try to print a PDF with both of those page sizes, using the Choose paper source by PDF page size option, but only 8.5x11 comes out.

Does this printer support what i'm trying to do and what are the steps i need to take?

The option to print by PDF page size is not available on many printers.  I believe that the Higher-end Laser printers provide the feature.  Adobe offers the option; the software has no direct knowledge whether the printer supports the option.

If the option does not work, it is not supported.
