Hi @Wiggen, thanks for posting. When a USB printer is connected to a MacBook Pro through a USB-C adapter, the adapter is the usual weak point.
- Use a USB-C to USB-A data adapter (not charge-only), plugged directly into the Mac (no hub), and try the other USB-C port.
- Check the Mac sees it: Apple menu > About This Mac > More Info > System Report > USB. The printer should be listed.
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, remove the printer, click Add Printer, select it and choose the HP model or AirPrint in "Use".
- If it doesn't appear in System Report, try another adapter/cable.
Please share your printer model and macOS version if it still doesn't print. Keep me posted!
