HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

After upgrading to Mac Monterey, print requests (from any app) generate several complaints about frameworks. It prints anyway, but only after I've acknowledged each of the complaints in sequence. Similar experiences in the past required updates to printer SW, which sometimes required an un-install of the current SW.

So I'm at HP.com trying to figure out what needs to be upgraded. I've been referred to the App Store, where I can't find what HP told me to look for. Only semi-relevant help that the virtual agent found had to do with Mac OS Sierra, and none of the details exist in Monterey, or in this printer's version of HP Utility. It's only JUST out of warranty, so it's not that old, and shouldn't be this hard to find.
Any suggestions?

First of all, I *was* able to print, as originally stated, it's just that I had to acknowledge 5 warning messages about the frameworks for every print job. Secondly, the same behavior occurred from more than one application. Thirdly, the provided link "A [software component] will damage your computer message displays when printing or while installing ..." goes to a page that says it is for earlier versions of the Mac OS than Monterey. On the plus side, this page did contain a link to an HP un-installer, which is something I had searched for already in the support database (I've been thru similar upgrades/installs before, and an un-installer is a fairly common step) but the search yielded no relevant results.

I downloaded the un-installer and ran it, then I downloaded and ran the EasyStart package from the update page you also provided (although that one had been easy to find myself). At least one print job has succeeded with no complaints, and indeed, when I look up the frameworks, they have all been updated today. So the problem appears to be solved.

May I suggest y'all do something to make the un-installer more accessible? Possibly re-tag it so the database search can find it, or link to it on the download pages, with a note that it may be required under some circumstances. Either way, the semi-knowledgeable will have a shorter route to a possible solution.

Thank you for the feedback. I will pass it on to the respective team. The uninstaller is available to all customers on the HP Support site.
