Recently bought a new HP laptop (Stream).  I wanted to print a Word document from it.  I pressed print and found the printer via Bluetooth, which is a Laser Jet Pro MFP M130nw. 
The document was sent to print, but when it printed it was in very tiny lettering and only in the top left quarter of the A4 page.  
Does some software need to be installed on the computer?  What is happening here?  I tried all sorts of different things and could not get it to work.  Thanks in advance.

There could be several reasons for the issue you're experiencing. To resolve the issue, try the following steps:

  1. Check the paper size and orientation settings in the printer software and make sure they are set correctly.

  2. Check the page scaling settings in the application you are printing from and make sure they are set correctly.

  3. Update the printer drivers and software to the latest version.

  4. Try printing a test page from the printer control panel to see if it prints correctly.

  5. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers and software.

If the issue still persists, contact HP support for further assistance.

Hi.  

Thank you so much for your reply.  I would have given you more details.  

The printer works fine with all other devices, such as printing from my iPhone, MacBook, Microsoft laptop.  We have owned the printer for years and had no issues. 

This recent printing issue seems to be an issue with the new Microsoft stream laptop we got. 

We sent a test print to the printer and although the preview on the laptop appears in the correct format on the A4 page, when it prints it only prints in the top left portion of the page, in very tiny lettering. (As I mentioned in my previous post) 


Therefore, is this problem related to the new laptop and potentially it needs software adding to it?
