i have a HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One which is a very good printer and has served us well. Is there a way to print on a blank inkjet printable DVD-RW cd? Maybe being able to print on a piece of paper that is unbendable so it doesnt need to feed would allow to put a DVD in and print on the appropriate area. That would be easy to set the print scope.
Hope you can help. Thanks Trev B.

Hi @Trev-B,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Printing directly onto a blank inkjet printable DVD-RW CD using your HP Officejet Pro 9010 All-in-One printer may not be possible, as most consumer-grade printers are not equipped to handle printing on such specialized media. However, you can still achieve your desired outcome by printing onto a printable label that can be affixed to the surface of the DVD.
Here's a general guide on how you can do this.
- Design your label: Use design software to create the label you want to print on the DVD. Make sure it fits the dimensions of your DVD and includes any necessary text, images, or graphics.
- Print the label: Print the label using your HP Officejet Pro 9010 onto a printable label sheet. Make sure you're using label sheets specifically designed for inkjet printers.
- Affix the label: Once printed, carefully peel off the label from the sheet and apply it to the surface of the DVD. Make sure it's centered and adheres smoothly to avoid any printing errors.
- Test the DVD: After applying the label, test the DVD to ensure that it can be read properly in your DVD player or computer. Make sure there are no bubbles or wrinkles that could interfere with playback.
By following these steps, you can achieve a professional-looking label on your DVD without needing a printer capable of directly printing onto the disc itself. Just be sure to use high-quality printable label sheets and take care when applying the label to ensure the best results.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
