Printing the same image multiple times on one page

How do I get my Envy Photo 7855 to print multiples of the same image per page? Every time I choose the settings I get one image in the top corner and none of the others. There are locks on all the “more setting”, was I supposed to spend more to use the full potential of this printer??

Template / Shortcuts Locks

Note:  Microsoft Photos also hosts a "More Settings" selection

HP Smart - Windows app > Main menu options > More Settings

The "locks" on the shortcuts listed in More Settings are likely just indicators that the shortcut is a template.

True - not all printer software allows the editing of the template itself.

Most printer software allows editing the settings and then some manner of "create new shortcut"

Printer - Printing Preferences

When called from within printing programs / software / applications, Printing Preferences might be called "Printer Properties" / "Shortcuts" / “More Settings” / “Properties” / "Printer Setup" / "Presets" or similar.

Printer - Printing Multiple or Repeating Images on one sheet of paper

The printer is unaware of what it is printing.

What you can do is controlled by not just the printer hardware and its capabilities.

What you can print is controlled by the app / software you use to open, view, configure, and submit the job to the printer.

HP Smart - Windows - Multiple photos

HP Smart has a "Multiple photos per page" -- it is used to print a previously selected group of photos on a single sheet of paper as best the photos will fit.

This feature of HP Smart is not a Multiple prints of the same image on one page.

Yeah, but...

Yes, the app can "sort of" do this but you need to build the table of images first and save as a PDF file.

Windows Photo Viewer

If you can find it and it still works, the old Windows Photo Viewer software can print "wallet" size sheets of the same photo. 

In the right column > Select Print size one of the multiple print sizes, for example Wallet 9 or Contact Sheet 35

On the bottom, enter the number of copies of each picture you want -

For example, if you want a full letter size sheet of photos, select 9

Right-Click on the photo file >

If needed (for Windows 11) Select Show more options >

Print

Select the  options in the top of the menu > continue with print size and number of copies

The best option might be to use a photo editing software that can actually create the task as you want it done.

In general, using this method is not "plug and play".

In most cases, it is necessary that the Full Feature Software has been installed to provide the necessary foundation for your photo editing / printing software.  See Section "References / Resources" for information on installing software.
