It seems the full software dowload for the HP Envy 7640 for Windows 10 is corrupt.
I have tried downloading manually with different browsers and from different PC's, all with the same result - a corrupt file. The file should be approx. 103 MB, but the extraction stops at about 75% and exits with the error "extraction failed. could not open output file".
This is the download that I am trying to use: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-7640-e-all-in-one-printer-series/6617267/mo...
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Jonathan,
Are both computers connected to the same network?
Is it a standard home PC or might be a corporate environment?
Have you tried disabling any active anti-virus or real time protection software prior running the installation? do you sue the same security software on both PCs?

I don't know why on your computer but I downloaded (few minutes ago) and run it without problem as shown.:
Please try on a different computer.

I have 112GB available on my C drive. I tried this on another machine and received the same error. Below is the error that I receive when the extraction gets to approximately 75%. Any other ideas of what I should check?
Thank you,
Jonathan
