Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Trying to configure a Laserjet M140w to run with a notebook under W10. 123hp.com simply does not recognize the printer. It would seem that this could be because I'm not running as an administrator ; but I don't have an admin pw. It is probably the original admin pw. Can I find it, or alternatively reset it, but to what value ?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Can try a wireless reset and then use the HP App (on the computer) to setup and connect printer to the network again?
