I am having an issue using the Solution Center when trying to scan etc. The printer was working perfectly at the end of 2018 but in the 1st week of 2019 all I can do is print. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the software and drivers but not much joy.

Hi,

What exact error or behavior occurs when you try to scan?

 

Try following HP Print and Scan Doctor by selecting Fix Scanning and check if that may help, else clarify its exact error:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

 

HP Scan Extended can also be installed and tried as a workaround, it will be installed within the Start menu of your PC:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Thank you for the reply and the HP Scanner extended I've installed and seems to be working however the install of the software and drivers has still not installed completely  and the Solution Center isn't working which is very frustrating.

I received a 'Fatal Error' in the install
