Hi

Have followed tutorial for WiFi direct but having issues. When I press i, the page with code either gets jammed or nothing happens. I’ve tried unplugging and reconnecting, pressed resume/WiFi to re initiate process but no cigar.

Mystery as far as paper jamming as only loading one sheet and aligning properly.

Getting desperate now. Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

Sorted out the jamming problem, but just getting blank pages rather than the direct WiFi password.

Thanks

@SteveStacey

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to connect the printer via WiFi direct, I am glad to assist you.

Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

Meanwhile:-

Follow these steps to connect the printer to WiFi direct

Restore network settings to default settings

  • Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

Follow the steps mentioned on page number 24 in this user guide to connect the printer to  WiFi direct:- Click here

Keep me posted.

If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
