Envy 6255
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an Envy 6255 All-in-one. Have been having issues where it won't print from one device or another. Thought I had it working, but it seems to have randomly decided to stop working again. I have tried everything. I've unplugged both my computer and the printer. Restarted everything. Gone into the spool and turned it off and back on 100 times, deleted all error print events, uninstalled the printer 8 times, reinstalled both through HP Smart and through windows. Downloaded new drivers, uninstalled old drivers, etc. The printer shows that it is connected to network. When I try to install through HP Smart, it says there was a problem during install and to manually install the driver. I launch "Printers and Scanners". My printer is listed as already installed but says the driver is unavailable. When I go to device manager, there are no printers listed. I can't figure out how to get the driver to install if I can't find the printer. Also, through HP Smart, it tells me not to select the printer with "Direct" in its name, but that's the only one that comes up.2020-12-12 (2)_LI.jpg2020-12-12 (4)_LI.jpg2020-12-12 (2)_LI.jpg

@MNIX96, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Add the printer using TCP/IP port-

1.  Select “Start” and type “printers” in the search box.

2.  Choose “Printers & scanners“.

3.   elect “Add a printer or scanner“.

4.  Wait for the “The printer that I want isn’t listed” option to appear, then select it.

5.   Select “Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname” , then select “Next“.

6.   select “TCP/IP Device” in the “Device type” list.

7.  Type the hostname or the IP address of the printer. Select “Next“. To find the IP address of the printer, touch the Wi-Fi icon on the printer's control panel.

8.  Windows should find the printer if the printer is on and configured correctly. You may have to specify more information. If prompted, Select the type of network adapter installed in the printer in the “Device Type” drop-down list. You can also click “Custom” to specify custom settings for the network printer. Select “Next

Try printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
