Bought a HP printer , convinced to have a trouble free printer. And I was right until I left the HP Instant Ink program.
I followed the instruction. Bought a HP Original toner as I installed. The printer did not recognise that I have changed the printer. So it is impossible to use the printer. After 5 hours of try to fix the problem I bought an additional toner , same problem. My attempt to reach HP customer service during the Friday was without success. Both the digital service for trouble shooting and the help desk was out of order.
I was urgent need of print , with two new toners with open packaging I decided to buy an additional printer,(same model). Next bad news. The app could not handle two identical printers. I have to day spent 4 hours to install the printer.
How can HP compensate me for spending 4+5 hours and the cost of the additional printer?

Hi @LW08,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP LaserJet M110we printer after using HP Instant Ink. While I don't have real-time information on specific cases, I can provide you with some general troubleshooting steps that might help you resolve the problem.
- Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the Instant Ink cartridges installed in your printer have sufficient ink. You can usually check the ink levels through your printer's control panel or the associated software on your computer.
- Restart Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor issues. Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Update Firmware/Drivers: Outdated firmware or drivers could cause compatibility issues. Check the HP support website for your printer model and download the latest firmware and drivers.
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi: If your printer is wireless, make sure it is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. Check the network settings on the printer's control panel and ensure it's connected to the correct network.
- Check Instant Ink Account: Log in to your HP Instant Ink account online and ensure that your subscription is active and your printer is registered correctly. Sometimes, issues can arise if there's a problem with your Instant Ink account.
- Perform Print Head Alignment/Calibration: If your prints are coming out misaligned or with quality issues, you might need to perform a print head alignment or calibration. This can usually be done through the printer's control panel or the software on your computer.
- Clear Paper Jams: If you're experiencing paper jams, carefully clear any jammed paper from the printer. Follow the printer's manual for instructions on how to clear paper jams properly.
- Reset Printer Settings: If you've made changes to the printer settings and are experiencing problems, consider resetting the printer to its default settings. This can help eliminate any unintended configurations causing issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
