Hp Officejet 7110

I am using a Macbook Pro/2019 with Big Sur and recently have bought a HP Officejet 7110 ePrinter:

It doesn't print properly.

Before installing HP Easy Print, it printed only in black and white; after installing Easy App it didn't print absolutely nothing. I followed the instructions of the HP-supportpage to uninstall and reinstall the program, but the problem remains unsolved.

Anybody knows the solution?

Or is HP planning to abandon the Mac-User-Market?

I understand the printer is printing blank pages. Let us try these steps:

 

Is this a brand new printer? 

 

Try making a standalone copy in black and color to check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Check the ink levels and replace any low/empty ink cartridges.

 

Clean the printhead and print a diagnostic page to check the result as shown in this document - Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Officejet 7110 Wide Format ePrinter Series

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Hi, I've bought the printer 5 days ago. Therefore it's not a problem of the printing head. It's a problem of compatibility with Mac OS 11.1/Big Sur.

I've repeatedly followed the instructions of the support page to install/uninstall and install again the HP Easy App in order to put the printer to print in Colours: with absolutely no result.

After uninstalling the app, it printed at least in black and white, so I could print at least some letter etc. but no graphics in colour.

the previous printer worked properly but I need the Wideprinter ....

Did you try to make a copy on the printer in black and color? What was the result?

Were you able to print the quality page?

 

This printer is AirPrint compatible and is supported by macOS 11. This is not a compatibility issue.

Hi, of course, after installing the HP software, the printer produced several test pages in colour. So, I thought, everything was okay, but it didn't print absolutely nothing more: no photo, no docx. Therefore I can't rely on it. Sorry.

We have to perform the said troubleshooting steps to check if the printer hardware is working fine. Without troubleshooting, we cannot resolve this issue.
