I am trying to configure the Scan to Sharepoint option on a OfficeJet Pro 9730e printer. When I copy the path to the sharepoint site in my browser and then paste it into the Quick Sets Setup I immediately get an error message saying "Check for invalid or missing entries"
I have tried paring the path down to the root of the sharepoint site, removing the HTTPS:// removing the leading and following / on the address, deleting the %20 and putting in spaces, - nothing seems to get me past that error message.

https://Entity.sharepoint.com/:f:/s/anotherpage-with-formatted-hyphens/random%20text%20and%20numbers...

None of these formats seem to work. What am I missing here? I can't even GET to the point where I am entering the username and password for the sharepoint site.

@RabidSpinach, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
The HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e does not natively support Scan to SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) via the embedded web server (EWS) or front panel. This feature is generally available only in HP Enterprise printers
What You Can Do Instead
Use HP Smart App or HP Scan Software
Scan to a Local Folder via the HP Smart App or HP Scan software installed on your PC.
Then manually upload or sync that folder to SharePoint (or have OneDrive sync the local folder).
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.

I have to say that I am quite confused by your reply as the EWS has a page specifically for this access that is found by going to "Quick Sets" → Add → SharePoint. Please see the screen shots below. The third picture is where I amrunning into issues. Why would they even have this as an option if it is not supported in the EWS?

Hi @RabidSpinach,
Thank you for the response.
If the direct Scan-to-SharePoint route isn’t functioning due to these restrictions, a workaround would be to:
Scan to a network folder or local PC using HP Smart or HP Scan software.
Use OneDrive sync or a SharePoint sync tool to automatically upload scanned documents to the appropriate SharePoint folder.
I hope this helps.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
