Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello, I have inherited this printer and have an older laptop with Win 7 32 and would like to know where to get the correct drivers. I assume I connect the printer via the USB cable to start. After the setup I would like to remove the cable and connect the printer to the router and be able to use it remotely. Many thanks for any help

PCL6 will be just fine, if you will be using the printer over network you don't need USB driver.

You first connect the printer to the same network as the computer(s) you are printing from.

Download drivers from hp.com and run the setup, the setup will guide you through and ask you how would you like to connect the printer, select wired network and continue.

Thank you very much for your reply. I have the link you sent and two quick questions.

Difference between PCL6 and PostScript, also Universal print drivers for Windows or Universal print drivers for Window for usb connected printers? All my computers and laptops are wifi connected, just making sure I'm working with the correct drivers.

Many thanks again....
