RFU - firmware file download?

I need to update my firmware files, but unfortunately, the HP FTP server is no longer accessible.

Could you please guide me to an alternative source where I can download the latest printer firmware files?

All printers have the latest firmware available to download from support.hp.com not all of them are RFU because not all models support RFU

Yes i know, but not even for the normal 404?

When i download and extract the exe file there is nur RFU.

We allways update the Firmware with the rfu file throught WJA.

Read my above post again, not all models support RFU, and M404 is one of them.

M404 has .ful2 firmware file not .rfu some models have .bdl it varys

ok so they stoped making rfu files?

because there were rfu files before they shut down the ftp:

ftp is no longer available for public browsing and download. You can only use the direct firmware link provided by HP website and most of them are .ful2

The WJA can download firmware from HP by itself, you don't need to do it manually for every model
