I  have the same problem exactly, but even the full installation from HP doesn't help.

I do get the 'manually turn over the paper and refeed' diagram on the PC but even when i do this the printer will not print the second side. It's very frustrating!

@JohnSHDC, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Envy 6120e not printing duplex on Windows 11!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Hi there, I can imagine how frustrating it must be to carefully flip the paper and still not get that second side to print. Let’s try a few things to get duplex working smoothly:

Check driver settings – Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Right-click your Envy 6120e > Printing Preferences. Under the Printing Shortcuts or Layout tab, look for “Print on Both Sides” and make sure it’s enabled.

Install HP App/ Full Feature Driver – Even if you’ve already done this, uninstall the current driver, restart your PC, then reinstall from HP App to refresh the setup. Sometimes Windows uses a basic driver that doesn’t support duplex.

Manual duplex process – When the prompt appears to reload pages, make sure you’re placing the stack face-up with the top edge in first (the printer is picky about orientation).

Firmware update – From HP Smart, check for the latest printer firmware. Outdated firmware can cause duplex features to misbehave.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
