Laserjet no longer works after Windows 11 update

• HP does not list the LaserJet 140W as a compatible win11 printer.
• There are no listed generic drivers for Intel 64 based machines.
• My machine's device manager has no compatible driver to install.
• I am up to date on win updates.
• This machine is less than 3  years old.
• I am screwed, unless you have a different suggestion.  

Big swing-and-miss between HP and MS.

Phooey on you two-ey.  I started my management career at HP.  The company is no longer recognizable.

While the HP LaserJet MFP M140w may not appear in some Windows 11 compatibility lists, it is supported on Windows 11 through HP’s official drivers and setup tools.

Windows Built-in Driver Option

• If your printer isn’t listed, click “The printer that I want isn’t listed” and follow the prompts to manually add it.

None of these suggestions work.  No Win11 driver, No default driver, HPSmart no longer works. Thanks for repeating the usual suspects.  I remain fully dissatisfied with HP and its collaboration with MS.

The only way I can use the printer is to share files with my android device and then print.  Stupid.

HP I had a 10 year old lazer Jet that worked perfectly until I upgraded to Windows 11 only to find you, yes you HP, did not create a driver for my existing printer.  I purchased a new printer a HP Lazer Jet M140w and have it connected by a usb printer cable.  I have to fight to print each time because window 11 says my printer is offline unless I try the printer cable to every usb jack on my PC and reboot at least twice.  Then your suggestion is to download a program that YOU produce that can't find a hardwired printer.  This is beyond rediculous!

Tell me how to get the drivers I need!
