driver update for Mac OS Tahoe

On my MacMini, which has M277 drivers installed under MacOS 15 and was updated to Tahoe, everything works fine. Please make the HP software for MacOS 15 available for download.

For your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277, the existing macOS 15 drivers continue to function correctly after updating to Tahoe. However, HP does not currently offer a new driver package specifically labeled for macOS 15.

Recommended steps for your setup:

 

1. Verify AirPrint is active

• Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners
• Select your M277 printer
• Confirm that “Use: AirPrint” is listed
• If not, remove and re-add the printer, selecting AirPrint manually

 

2. Use Preview or Image Capture for scanning

• Open Preview > File > Import from Scanner
• Or use Image Capture from Applications
• These apps support custom sizes and full scan control

 

3. Use HP App for basic management

• Download the HP App for macOS
• It provides access to supplies, support, and basic print tools

 

4. If needed, reinstall legacy drivers

• Visit the HP M277 Driver Page
• Select macOS 14 or earlier
• Download and install the HP Easy Start or Full Software Solution
• Restart your Mac and test printing
