Deskjet 1110
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi!

I have a dilemma... I've had my basic HP DeskJet 1110 printer for the past 2 years, I've always used it without any problems until a few days ago. I tried printing out a word file, but somehow my printer wouldn't even receive the prompt to print.

I uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it without success. My pc recognises the printer for the first part of the installation, but not when it comes to installing the drivers. It's stuck on the "Connect your USB cable" screen. I can't continue and I really don't know how to solve this issue... Can anyone help?

Thanks

Welcome to the HP support community.

Are you trying to connect the printer using the USB cable?

If yes, don't connect the USB cable until prompted during the install.

Uninstall and reinstall the printer driver again.

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
