Iron badger I have installed 5 times and at this 6 hours. I see the downloads in my Mac.  Easy scan, essential, easy everything!  When I go to applications, I see HP only. The utility app will not open and the uninstaller app says it is missing components.  How can I fix this?

I am not sure what you have installed or what printer you have.

 

This issue is fixed by:

1. Make sure your macOS has all the latest updates from Apple

2. Make sure your macOS has been connected to the internet in the last 48 hours or so.  The original trigger has been reversed and your macOS should get the update to stop these message.

3. Depending on what printer you have there are a few ways to get the latest software.  But the most reliable is to go to 123.hp.com enter your printer model and that will direct you to the correct software to install.
