OK - could be real or could be anything.

In general, I believe the standard Email Alerts service was perhaps discontinued in 2023.

Email Alerts subscription was replaced by the online check that can be done at the product's own HP support webpage.

That said, Email Alerts was a nice service - HP might have reinstated it or there might be a separate service for Enterprise (Business) printers (if that is what you have).

Best not to click on anything you receive in an email that you do not 100% recognize.

Should you wish to do so, check your Product Home Page for Alerts for your printer.

 Product Home

 Enter the device type and model name of your HP product

Click on Bulletins and Alerts - under the name of your printer
