Receiving USB error while trying to install driver package for HP L7x00 printer series.

 

Why am I receiving a USB error while trying to install a network driver ?

The L7600 All-in-one is on the network and I can use the Web-service to scan docs.

The printer did install w/MS$ driver.

Tried to install the HP software pkg for the printer and the install errors out on:

 

"This computer does not have the necessary USB software support to allow completion of a USB installation. The installation cannot continue until this is resolved.

 

Required Action: Click Cancel .... "
