Hi @Gigi357

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you want to recycle your HP printer.

Thank you for sharing your decision to recycle your printer! It’s great to see you taking an environmentally responsible approach. Recycling helps reduce waste and can make a positive impact on the environment. I'm here to help you today.

Please find below the information:

Recycle an HP printer

Find a local retailer or electronics recycling service to recycle a consumer printer.

HP has been working for over 25 years to responsibly recycle printers and cartridges and avoid sending them to landfills. Go to HP Planet Partners to learn more.

Before recycling your printer, remove and recycle the cartridges, remove the printer from any HP or HP Instant Ink accounts, and restore factory defaults on the printer. Go to Prepare an HP printer for recycling or resale for more information.

Use one of the following methods to recycle your printer.

Use the recycling service at local retailers: Many office supply, home electronics, and big box stores have recycling services that accept printers. For example, through a partnership with Best Buy, HP offers nearly 1000 electronics recycling drop off locations in the United States. Go to Electronics, Appliances and Fitness Equipment Recycling at Best Buy for more information.

Contact your local retailer for availability and what products are accepted.

Find a recycling service by country/region: Go to HP Product return and recycling. Select your country/region, if necessary, and then click Consumer and home office equipment for more information. Recycling options vary by country/region.
