Hello to all, Web Services says that my Printer is not connected to the internet and I know for a fact that it is connected to the internet.. BTW I do have the latest to greatest firmware for my printer installed as well! Also, My warranty is now expired as well so I can't exactly contact HP Tech Support either! Also, I have tried to do a cold reset on my printer as well as turning off web services and reenabling web services as well as a web services reset and that also did no good so I am at a loss to fiigure this out right now!. Anyways, Thanks in advance for listening! Any and all Suggestions would be most appreciated right now also! other than that my printer is working with no other problems to my knowledge also! Anyways, Have a great day ahead and stay safe as well!..

Hi @ChaosJS01,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand that you're experiencing an issue with your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-In-One Printer, where it's showing as not connected to the internet even though you believe it is. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue.
Check Network Connection:
- Make sure that your printer is indeed connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.
Restart Your Printer:
- Sometimes, a simple power cycle can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength:
- Ensure that your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router and that the Wi-Fi signal is strong enough. Weak signals can lead to connectivity problems.
Printer's Wireless Settings:
- Access your printer's control panel or settings menu and verify that it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. You might need to reconfigure the network settings if they are incorrect.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Even though you mentioned having the latest firmware, double-check that there are no new updates available on the HP support website specifically for your printer model.
Restart Your Router:
- Sometimes, the issue may be with your router. Try restarting your router to ensure it's functioning correctly.
Printer Troubleshooter:
- Most HP printers come with a built-in network troubleshooter. Access the printer's settings or control panel and look for network troubleshooting options.
Firewall or Security Software:
- Check if any security software or firewall on your computer might be blocking the printer's connection to the internet. Temporarily disabling such software can help diagnose the issue.
HP Smart App:
- If you are using the HP Smart app to connect your printer, ensure that the app is up-to-date. Sometimes, updating the app can resolve compatibility issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hello there, To my knowledge I have tried lately everything that is suggested and to no avail and I just check for a firmware update regarding my printer today and none available as a result!. Thanks anyways though . .Good news is I am at least still able to print or scan or even copy as well without any problems anyways The only thing I might just need is a new black ink cartridge for my printer for now.. Anyways, If there are any other suggestions, I am still open for them! Thanks again for your efforts as well and Have a great day and stay safe too!..

Hey there again, By the way, My printer's warrantty is now expired as of January 10, 2023.. So About the only way to contact HP is via phone and out of warranty support anyhow. So I was hoping not to have to do that due to that anyways, But Thanks again for your efforts anyways, Have a graet day ahead and stay safe as well, Ok?..! Most appreciated as well!.
