Hi!
I have a HP 8710 printer that I bought in Canada.
I moved to Europe (Serbia), and I cannot find any 952/952XL cartridge for my printer. They do sell 953 cartridge that appear to be compatible when you change the printer location settings.
Can I have the instructions for my printer ?
What about my existing cartridges.. will they keep working ? One color is empty but others are still almost full..

Hi @trembl27,
Welcome to the HP Support Community. This is a great place to post questions and find answers.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you have moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I have sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping

For everyone benefits, make sure you have the HP software installed and that you are linked to the printer with a USB cable.
The instructions will tell you how to extract some information from the printer that you will share with the customer support. They will give you some numbers that you enter in that same window and it will reset the printer's region. You can then put the new cartridges in and get printing again!
