Hi, saw some threads with the same issue and the same printer model, but the answers are either in DMs or not helpful. Please assist with my case:
The newly purchased cartridge is of a W1106A type, should be compatible, but I tride two, and installing both resulted in an error that the cartridge is incompatible.
HP Laser 107W
Printer purchased in: UAE
Moved to: Switzerland, new cartridge bought here.
Don't have the old cartridge from the UAE
I Do have a printer USB cable.
All the software offered on the website is installed

I completely understand how frustrating this experience must be—especially after moving countries and ensuring you've purchased a compatible toner model like the W1106A.
Please note that HP Laser printers, including your HP Laser 107w, are region-locked for toner cartridges. This means: Since your printer was originally set up and activated in the UAE, it is region-locked to the Middle East region, and toner cartridges purchased in Europe (like Switzerland) will unfortunately show as incompatible.
HP printers do not support toner reset or regional override manually. There is no supported method to reset or reconfigure the printer for a new regional toner once it's activated.
Your Option:
Purchase UAE-region toner
If possible, source a W1106A toner manufactured for the Middle East region (UAE).

Hi, thanks for you swift reply. It's a bit confusing though, considering that other threads with the same issue mention instructions being sent in private messages.
Anyway, could you please at least assist me with the way to order a proper cartridge so that it will definitely match with my printer in my case? Will ordering the model named W1107A instead of W1106A help? Thanks

Regional reset can be performed only for printers which use cartridges; for Toner Printer's the regional reset options are not available.
