I have a Canadian bought m428fdw printer. The toner has nearly finished and I can’t get toner from the UK where I now live to work on it.
can someone tell me how i reset the region to the UK from Canada ?

I’m not going to buy another toner cartridge until I know I can reset the printer !

The printer is out of warranty.
thank you

Hi,

Note that a Laserjet printer is not dual voltage, and a printer marketed in canada is intended for 130V, while in the UK 230V are used.

Are you using the printer and plugged it to the power successfully?

Also note that all 4 toners must be replaced to reset the printer for another region, so please clarify and confirm above first.

Hi. The voltage is not a problem. I’ve a voltage converter and it works fine. The printer only takes a single cartridge. 58A currently. I can only get 59A/X here in UK.
