HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4535 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, I need your support for regionalization resetting my HP Deskjet 4535 printer, bought in Saudi Arabia and now I have moved to India. I cannot use the cartridges no. 680 from India, even though these are listed on HP's website as supported cartridges for the above mentioned printer. I bought and inserted new cartridges in the printer and I get an error message saying that the cartridges are not intended to be used in this printer. Kindly help me with the instructions for detail resetting along with the reset code.

Hi @Adnan81,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are looking for help with a regional reset on your Printer.

To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

Which country did you move from and to?

Do you have the ink cartridges for both regions?

Do you have a printer USB cable or is it connected wirelessly?

Do you have the printer full feature software or the HP smart app and drivers installed on your PC?

If you meet the above conditions then let me know the following details:

1) The operating system of your PC, is it Windows or Mac?

2) Confirm the printer model.

Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Take care and have a great day ahead!

Hi Irwin,

I followed the above steps and replied this morning through private message. Please note that I do not have the old cartridges which were from Saudi Arabia, I threw them away about sometime back, as those were completely utilized. I followed the steps you mentioned, but using the new cartridges bought from India.

I will wait for further instructions.

Regards,

Adnan
